This Privacy Policy describes how ssamgr ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, shares, stores, and protects information when you use AI Photo to Art (the "App").
AI Photo to Art is a creative photo-to-art app. The App does not use face recognition, does not create biometric face templates, and does not identify people in photos. A photo selected by the user may contain a face, and that photo is processed only to generate the artwork requested by the user.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Photos, Prompts, and Face-Containing Images
To generate artwork, the App sends the photo you choose and the art prompt or style instructions you select through our secure generation proxy and then to OpenAI's image generation API. The proxy is used to protect the OpenAI API key, validate requests, rate-limit abuse, and forward the generation request. Only the image pixels and prompt text needed to create the artwork are transmitted. We do not send photo metadata, location data, contacts, or any other personal information from your device as part of the generation request.
Users may choose a photo that contains a face. AI Photo to Art does not collect biometric face data, face geometry, face landmarks, face templates, face embeddings, face IDs, or face-recognition data. The App processes the image pixels in the selected photo only to generate the artwork requested by the user.
We do not use photos or faces to identify people, verify identity, authenticate users, analyze facial features, infer attributes, or build a profile from faces.
1.2 Generation Request Logs
Our generation proxy may create limited technical logs for rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability. These logs may include IP address, endpoint, status code, error message, request duration, and timestamp. These logs do not contain selected photos, prompts, generated artwork, face templates, or biometric identifiers.
1.3 Purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card number, banking details, or App Store account password.
1.4 Device Permissions
The App may ask for permission to save generated artwork to your Photos library. The App uses this permission only when you choose to save or share an image. The App does not scan or upload your photo library automatically.
2. How We Use Information
We use information only for the following purposes:
- To generate AI artwork from the photo and style selected by the user.
- To send the selected photo and prompt through our secure generation proxy to OpenAI for image generation.
- To validate requests, protect the OpenAI API key, rate-limit abuse, and maintain service reliability.
- To store generated artwork and user preferences locally on the user's device.
- To manage subscriptions, credits, and in-app purchases through Apple StoreKit.
- To respond to support requests and privacy requests.
3. AI Processing, Sharing, and Third Parties
3.1 OpenAI
AI image generation is powered by OpenAI. If you tap "Agree & Generate" in the App, your selected photo, including any visible face, and your prompt are sent through our secure generation proxy and then to OpenAI's image generation API to create your artwork.
OpenAI states that data sent to the OpenAI API is not used to train or improve OpenAI models unless the API customer explicitly opts in. OpenAI may retain API abuse monitoring logs for up to 30 days unless longer retention is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect OpenAI's services or others from harm. OpenAI's image endpoints are listed by OpenAI as having no application state retention by default, subject to OpenAI's published limitations and policies.
OpenAI's use of data is governed by its terms and privacy documentation: https://openai.com/privacy/ and https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/your-data.
3.2 Apple Services
Purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and App Store account features are handled by Apple. Apple's use of data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/privacy/.
3.3 Service Providers
We use service providers only to provide the App's functionality, process purchases, protect the service, and respond to support or legal requests. We do not sell selected photos, prompts, generated artwork, face-containing images, or face data. We require service providers to process information only for the services they provide and to use appropriate privacy and security protections.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Selected photos and prompts are temporarily processed through our secure generation proxy and OpenAI to create the requested artwork. We do not store selected photos, prompts, generated artwork, or face-containing images on our servers after generation. Temporary uploaded files on our generation proxy are deleted after processing completes.
Generated artwork, credit balance, purchase entitlement state, and user preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete locally stored artwork from within the App where available or by deleting the App from your device.
Generation request logs used for rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and service reliability are retained for up to 30 days and then deleted or overwritten. These logs do not contain selected photos, prompts, generated artwork, face templates, or biometric identifiers.
5. Face Data
What face data does the App collect? The App does not collect biometric face data, face geometry, face landmarks, face templates, face embeddings, face IDs, or face-recognition data. Users may voluntarily select a photo that contains a face. In that case, the App processes the image pixels in the selected photo only so the AI image service can generate the requested artwork.
How is face-containing content used? Face-containing photos are used only to create the requested artwork. The App does not identify people, verify identity, authenticate users, analyze facial features, infer sensitive attributes, or build profiles from faces.
Is face-containing content shared? If you tap "Agree & Generate," the selected photo and prompt are sent through our secure generation proxy and then to OpenAI's image generation API for processing. The generation proxy forwards the request and does not retain the selected photo or prompt after generation.
How long is face-containing content retained? We do not retain selected photos or face-containing images on our servers after generation. Temporary uploaded files are deleted after processing completes. OpenAI's API data handling is described in OpenAI's privacy and data-control documentation.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed by the App. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we limit the data we process and avoid server-side retention of selected photos, prompts, generated artwork, and face-containing images after generation.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You can control your information in the following ways:
- You choose which photo, if any, to use for generation.
- You can decline the AI Photo Processing notice; if you decline, the App will not send a photo or prompt for AI generation.
- You can delete generated artwork stored locally on your device where available or delete the App to remove local App data.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings.
- You can contact us to request deletion of any information we can reasonably identify and control.
8. Children's Privacy
AI Photo to Art is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
9. International Processing
The App, our service providers, and OpenAI may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such processing.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
